Our reputation as a leading supplier of high value components and assemblies have earned us international support, which has led to important working relationships with companies inside Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, Poland, and Thailand.

As a turnkey company, we don’t generally buy processes from outside vendors. We’re a full-service manufacturer and we produce nearly everything internally because we want to supply our customers with top-notch products and processes in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Mission Statement

To be recognized by our customers as a leading supplier of high value components, assemblies and equipment. Newcor will achieve its mission by:

  • Meeting and Exceeding Customer Expectations
  • Continuously Improving Products and Processes
  • and Maintaining an Open and Participative Environment that Recognizes and Respects Every Employee’s Contribution.

We attribute our success to our talented and committed team members, quality products, and streamlined processes. In 2014, we achieved a 22% increase in sales. A 50,000 square foot addition has recently been completed at the MTG Owosso plant.

Machining capability can be bought. What cannot be bought is organization, discipline, sophistication and culture necessary to make that machining capability work seamlessly while meeting the customer’s needs.

We sincerely thank our loyal customers and invite new ones to consider doing business with us. We promise to exceed your manufacturing expectations by seeking out innovative processes and solutions. Satisfied and successful customers are what motivate us to continue evolving our skills and capabilities.

Our Team

Our manufacturing associates are a crucial part of our success. By offering continuous training in the areas of statistical process control, quality measures, preventive maintenance, problem solving, and team building, we ensure that our employees have ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, while becoming experts in their field.

Each company is staffed with professional manufacturing engineers who develop pricing models and methods for potential and existing customers. The first step starts when an engineer creates a process that they test and tweak eventually making a sample. Before a contract is awarded, an engineering process is developed and a quote is offered, giving each customer a customized solution. The ability to develop manufacturing processes and make them fit together in a Lean manufacturing environment is what makes our companies stand out.

Our trained metallurgist works in an on-site, state-of-the-art lab at each company. The metallurgist provides crucial insight and customer support by advising on material selection and best heat treating requirements.

Maintenance Engineers

Because we have preventive maintenance teams at each of our facilities, our team is able to inspect machines and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

We know that embracing technology is a critical component to a thriving business. That’s why we continue to improve and expand our capabilities. Here’s a sampling of the sophisticated equipment and processes that we offer:

  • Case depth measurement
  • In-house calibration
  • Infrared vibration analysis
  • Micro hardness testing
  • Optical/form scans
  • Magnetic Particle Inspection
  • Grain Size Evaluation
